remember at the age of 11 desperately wanting an Animal Muppet Show drum
kit for Christmas. I didn't get it! Not that my parents didn't try, but
the stores were sold out all over Montreal. I continued to do what I'd
been doing up to that point, build my own drum kits with cardboard boxes
I'd pick up from the dumpster of the local supermarket. After a while they'd
get pretty worn, so I'd do my impersonation of Keith Moon and thrash the
hell out of them. Then I'd go back to the supermarket and start again.
